The Isaacs Practice is a small firm which ensures that each client gets individual and specific attention. Its Principal, John Carmichael, has been a lawyer for over 30 years and there are very few other solicitors in the area with his experience of litigation. In the areas of Family Law and Civil Litigation generally, there is not much that he has not seen, done or been told. He has the breadth and depth of knowledge to handle any situation and, with his own firm, the ability to ensure that each client feels that they his only one.
Supporting him in all of this are his wife Susan, who is practice manager and right hand. Sarah Dexter is his secretary.
Pat Harrison is their backup secretary and Cath Porter is their trainee Legal Executives. In all, the firm is big enough to cope but small enough to care and it takes pride in making each individual client feel special.
The firm's motto is "You'll be glad we're on your side" - and you will be. Unfortunately, many of us get sucked into disputes that are not of our making. Employment, neighbours, breach of contract, injuries at home, at work or abroad, financial disputes or whatever - they all cause trouble. Sometimes you cannot avoid them, but we can help you survive them and indeed, win through despite them. It is, of course, preferable if we can give you the advice before the dispute happens, so as to show you how to get round difficulties, or, at the very least, sometimes, make them work to your favour. However, whilst they happen, we can sort them out for you.
We do not give over-enthusiastic advice nor indeed is it over-pessimistic; we will tell you what we think is right, applying it to the circumstances of the difficult times. What would you rather have? Naïve, unrealistic and irresponsible advice from somebody who tells you what you want to hear, or something sensible and practical, which may be unpalatable, but which will save you both money and trouble in the future?
We offer a free half-hour interview, no-win-no-fee arrangements and fixed fees. We will also arrange home visits for those clients not able to come to the office for whatever reason.
