Divorce is a horrible thing. The clients involved have a lousy time and everybody concerned loses something because of it. That is, in blunt and realistic terms, the truth. However, a good solicitor, while they cannot make things better, can at least make things less bad. At the Isaacs Practice, we will ensure that you come out of that experience feeling stronger than you were when you went in. It is not our task to get you a quick fix – it is our task to get you a deal, or a result which, in ten years time, you will still consider was the right one for you.
We mention "deal" above because we spend an awful lot of time negotiating on behalf of our clients to keep cases out of court. Acrimonious and defended divorces and claims for finances or properties lose money for clients, in that they pay more in legal fees than they should do. This is not to say that we roll over and play dead – what it does mean is that we will give you realistic and sensible advice, which may not always be what you want to hear. However, whether you want to hear it or not, you will have the best advice that we can possibly give, with over 30 years of experience behind it. It is a sad fact of life that some people have been given stupid and irresponsible advice which has led to create huge disappointment and ill feeling. In those circumstances, there is no winning by either side; there are simply degrees of losing. Nobody here will give you anything but the truth and sensible counsel.
